Please note: all forms and information for the 2024 School Steer Spectacular are available to complete online.

We are still accepting school and non-school entries for the Open Steer Challenge (entries close 28/03/2024) and the Commercial Steer/Heifer challenge (entries close 24/04/2024). Please make sure you read the School Steer Spectacular Schedule for all entry and market specifications before completing the Entry Form.

Access to the Google Classroom – Schools that have completed an EOI will be invited to access the 2024 School Steer Spectacular Google Classroom to complete subsequent forms and reports for participation.

Unfortunately DET and NSW Education email addresses cannot be used to access a Google Classroom from a non-DET organisation account. We ask that you please supply an alternate, non-DET, email for access to the Google Classroom. Additionally, if your alternate email is not a Gmail account, i.e. Bigpond, Hotmail, Yahoo, THIS VIDEO will show you how to accept the google classroom invite using this type of email address.

School Steer Spectacular Schedule – The School Steer Spectacular Schedule is your go to policy, parameters, information, and reference document for all exhibits being entered into the Manildra School Championship (schools only), the Open Steer Challenge, or the Commercial Steer/Heifer Challenge. The schedule has been carfeully curated inline with Meat Standards Australia and the Australian Beef Carcass Appraisal System to clearly outline market specifications required of all exhibits, the expected conduct of all exhibitors, as well as an outline of the scoring system for each element of the competition.

Non-school Open Steer and Commercial Steer/Heifer Challenge entry form – for the 2024 South Coast Beef School Steer Spectacular, we are accepting non-school entries for both our Open Steer Challenge (led competition) and Commercial Steer/Heifer Challenge (unled competition). Entries for the Open Steer Challenge are due by the 28/03/2024 and entries for the Commercial Steer/Heifer Challenge are due by the 24/04/2024. Entries in the Open Steer Challenge will be limited due to the interest from a number of schools this year so get you entries in quick!
